Ideas Institute Awards, sponsored by Bancaja Foundation, were presented yesterday November 29, in the auditorium of the Polytechnic City of Innovation (Valencia). This edition will have distributed more than 42,000 euros, with the aim of rewarding the best paths according to their business growth, innovation, business strategy and contribution to the environment.
Before the show, the 32 participating companies had the opportunity to exhibit and present their projects to the audience, among whom were officials from the world of politics and the University, the Hon. Mr. D. Román Ceballos, regional secretary for Education and Employment and CEO of Servef; the Hon. Mr. Mariano Vivancos, general director of Employment and Job Placement of Servef; the rector of the Univerisitat Politècnica de València (UPV), Juan Juliá; Francisco Mora, vice president for Planning and Innovation of UPV; and Ms. Isabel Rubio, manager of the Bancaja Foundation, among others.
In the stands could find products and facilities of all kinds, from patented Valencian paellas sold beyond our borders to the latest patents in biotechnology and nanophotonics. Among others, Agfra team won first prize in the category Research-Based Company.
The ceremony of the XI Femeval Awards was chaired by the minister of Economy, Industry and Trade of Valencian Autonomy Goverment, Enrique Verdeguer; Femeval president, Vicente Lafuente; president of the Council of Chambers, José Vicente Morata; the president of Cepymev, Salvador Navarro; and Femeval general secretary, Alejandro Soliveres.
The award for the Small Business Entrepreneurship has been to Agfra. Dedicated to the engineering and supply of components for the automotive and renewable energy, this company is recognized for its flagship project Massanassa White Light Inspection Project, which involved the development of the first cell of 3D inspection online by white light structured. Also because, with just 15 employees, has managed to quadruple its turnover in the last five years and projects to develop major vendors such as Jaguar, Opel, Nissan and Ford.
